• Day 2
  Amsterdam. Arrive in Amsterdam and transfer to your ship, conveniently located near the center of the city. This evening, enjoy your welcome onboard dinner. (Dinner)



• Day 3
  Amsterdam. This morning's panoramic city tour begins with Rembrandt's windmill and includes the city's most famous monuments such as the Roayl Palace, Dam Square and Mint Tower and a stop at the unique floating flower market. Continue with a canal cruise through Amsterdam's historic center for a different perspective of the city. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure to explore the many museums, galleries and shops for which Amsterdam is renowned. This evening cruise overnight to Germany. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)



• Day 4
  Dusseldorf – Cologne. This morning disembark in Dusseldorf for an orientation walk with your cruise manager. Then enjoy free time to stroll the cobblestone streets lined with quaint shops and cafes before returning to the ship for an afternoon cruise up the Rhine to Cologne. You will arrive just after dinner, with time to explore the city's lovely old town, which is only minutes away from your ship. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)



• Day 5
  Cologne – Koblenz. Once an important Roman city and Medieval trading centre, this morning's city tour will bring alive the rich history of Cologne's old town. You will also visit the massive twin spired Gothic cathedral – one of the world's largest. This afternoon cruise further up the Rhine to Koblenz for an overnight stop, passing the famous Remagen bridge captured intact by US forces in World War II, and Bonn the former capital of West Germany and birthplace of Beethoven. Tonight after dinner enjoy an evening walking tour of Koblenz's old town. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)



• Day 6
  Koblenz – Rudesheim. This morning, be on deck to see the most beautiful part of the Rhine River. Your first port of call is the ancient town of Boppard, a former Roman fortress, for a brief orientation tour and free time to explore. Continue after lunch up the Rhine, passing castle upon castle and the infamous Lorelei Rock. This afternoon, arrive in the little wine village of Rudesheim, where you will travel by mini–train from the ship, to visit Siegfried's Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. Return to the shop via the Drosselgasse, a narrow alley lined with wine taverns and restaurants. After dinner, you could sample the local vintage ashore. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)



• Day 7
  Rudesheim – Heidelberg – Speyer. Arrive in the city of Speyer this morning and disembark for a guided tour to romantic Heidelberg. Nestled on the banks of the Neckar River and once the capital of the ancient Rhineland Palatinate, you will visit its famous castle ruins and enjoy a walking tour of the old town and see the world's oldest University in Germany. Rejoin the ship in Speyer. After lunch, a guided walking tour of Speyer will include the Imperial Cathedral, Old Town Gate and Town Hall. Your ship continues this evening to Strasbourg. • Day 8
  Strasbourg. Arrive in Strasbourg this morning. Disembark for a sightseeing canal cruise of this vibrant city with both German and French influences. This unique way of seeing the city brings alive the old town, with its half–timber framed buildings, followed by free time to explore on your won, perhaps to take a walk through Petite France. Depart this afternoon and cruise overnight to Switzerland. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
