 Arrive Prague |
On arrival in Prague your are transferred to your hotel. Later, we will enjoy a welcome drink with your Tour Director. This evening why not enjoy Prague by night?

| Day 3 | Prague sightseeing & at leisure | With a local guide our sightseeing tour features the Hradçany Castle, the Old Town Square and the romantic Charles Bridge. Then free time to perhaps take a cruise on the Moldau or to shop for bargains in Bohemian crystal. Maybe attend a concert this evening! (Buffet breakfast)
| | Day 4 | Prague at leisure | A full day at leisure. Some suggestions are perhaps to explore the Jewish Quarter or admire the 'art nouveau' works of Alphonse Mucha. Maybe head into the countryside and take an excursion to the Nelahozeves Castle. Tonight, after an included dinner of Czech specialities in a local restaurant, why not experience a colorful folklore show? (Buffet breakfast/ Dinner)
| | Day 5 | Prague – Lednice – Vienna (3 nights) | Today we travel via Brno, one time headquarters of Napoleon, to Lednice Castle, where we visit the Italianate gardens. We cross the border into Austria to Vienna. Tonight, why not take a stroll through the Prater Park and take a ride on the big wheel? (Buffet breakfast) | | Day 6 | Vienna sightseeing & at leisure | Today's guided sightseeing tour points out the main highlights such as the Hofburg Palace, the Parliament Buildings, the Opera house and prety St.Stephen's Cathedral. Later time is your own to perhaps take a trip into the Vienna Woods or explore the elegant square in the oldest part of the city. Tonight we enjoy a dinner of Viennese specialities at a 'Heurige' in the Vienna Woods. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
| | Day 7 | Vienna at leisure | Enjoy a full day at leisure. Perhaps visit a museums or shop in the Kärntnerstrasse. Maybe visit beautiful Schönbrunn Palace, or sit on a sidewalk café and feast on Viennese pastries! Later, why not take in a concert of Strauss music? (Buffet breakfast)
| | Day 8 | Vienna – Danube Valley – Budapest (3 nights) | The Hungarian border at Hegyeshalom is not far, so its' not long before we are in Hungary. We drive along the route known as the 'Danube bend' with its quaint old villages and orchards, growing plums later to be made into Hungarian brandy! Here we stop at the attractive town of Esztergom. Here we see its fine Cathedral, Castle and St. Tamas Hill before following the Danube to the spot where the towns of Buda and Pest straddle the river, forming the Hungarian capital. Tonight, why not enjoy seeing the city illuminated from a cruise boat on the Danube? (Buffet breakfast)
| | Day 9 | Budapest sightseeing & at leisure | Today's sightseeing tour shows us the Mattias Church, Fishermen's Bastion, the Great Synagogue and Heroes' Square. Then free time to shop for Hungarian embroidery and beautiful enameled boxes. This evening we will enjoy a goulash dinner to the accompaniment of Hungarian music! (Buffet breakfast / Dinner ) |
| Day 10 | Budapest at leisure | A full day to relax and enjoy the sights this city has to offer, or to perhaps indulge in some spa treatments at one of the Turkish baths, so popular in the Hungarian capital. You may also wish to visit the interior of the Opera House or enjoy some mouth–watering pastries at Gundel's famous restaurant! (Buffet breakfast) |
| Day 11 | Return USA | Bid farewell to new–found friends at the end of your tour. Your Trafalgar Tour Director organizes your transfer to Budapest Airport arriving at approximately 07:00am for your return flight to America. For passengers who wish to be transferred to Vienna, we will transfer you the Trafalgar Vienna extra night hotel! (Buffet breakfast)
