Airport Transfer
Trafalgar has
included a free transfer to and from
your London airport and Central London.
Your transfer will be via an express
train link from London Heathrow Airport
to Paddington Station on the Heathrow
Rail Express, and from London Gatwick
Airport to Victoria Station on the
Gatwick Rail Express. Gatwick Express
takes 30 minutes and Heathrow Express
takes only 15 minutes compared to the
one hour plus journey by coach! From
Paddington or Victoria it's a short and
inexpensive journey by taxi to your
London hotel.
Airport/Central London Railway
Station/Airport: Only one included
transfer both inbound and outbound per
tour is included by Trafalgar.
Transfers are by express train to a
Central London Rail Station. From
Central London it's a short and
inexpensive journey by taxi to your
hotel. Heathrow Express operates
between 05:10 – 23:30. Gatwick Express
operates inbound services between
05:20 – 23:45 and outbound services
from 04:30 – 23:45. Transfers out
these
times are at passengers own expense.
For passengers who choose to make
their
own flight arrangements, a transfer
will
be provided at a charge of $25 per
person round trip. Your Travel Agent
must provide Trafalgar accurate flight
details no less that 21 days prior to
tour departure and must arrange your
flight to coincide with our specific
arrival and departure transfer times.
If however, you arrive outside the
scheduled transfer times, then you
must
make your own alternative transfer
arrangements at your own expense.

Time to relax after checking into your
Trafalgar hotel or perhaps check out
this exciting city.
- Day 3
London at leisure Enjoy a
full day at leisure to perhaps explore
or maybe do some shopping in Britain's
capital. (Continental breakfast)
- Day 4
London – Salisbury – Bath
Greetings from our Tour Director as we
travel to Salisbury Plain. See ancient
Stonehenge with its mystical tales of
Druids and sun worship. In Salisbury we
view the Cathedral en route to Jan
Austen's Bath where we admire the
Georgian architecture. Time to shop for
postcards and souvenirs before arriving
at our hotel. (Continental breakfast)
- Day 5
Bath – Wells –
Exeter Today we drive to nearby
Cheddar Gorge to admire its rugged
beauty.Then we stop to visit the
beautiful city of Wells, with an awe–
inspiring Cathedral. From here we
continue our journey through
Thomas Hardy's Wessex and its rolling
green hills, before reaching Exeter,
where orientation shows us the
Cathedral and medieval walls.

- Day 6
Devon and Cornwall Excursion
A full day excursion begins as we
skirt Dartmoor to reach Plymouth
where you will have a chance to take a
boat trip around the harbour. Then we
continue to Marazion where we see
St. Micheal's Mount before heading
north to the Atlantic coast of Cornwall
and the Artist's colony of St. Ives.
Finally after an amazing scenic day we
return to our hotel in Exeter for
dinner and overnight stay. (Breakfast/
Dinner)
- Day 7
Exeter – Newport We drive
through the 'scrumpy' county of
Somerset and on to Bristol to see
Brunel's Clifton Suspension Bridge on
our orientation tour of this fine city.
Finally across the Severn bridge into
Wales and our hotel in Newport.

- Day 8
Newport – Cardiff –
Waterford
This morning we stop to visit Cardiff,
the capital of Wales. Here an
orientation tour shows us the Castle
and Millennium Stadium Cardiff Arms
Park. Next we drive through South Wales
via Camarthan to Fishguare, where we
board our ferry and cruise across the
Irish Sea to Rosslare. From here by
coach we head to Waterford, home of the
famous crystal for dinner and overnight
stay. (Breakfast/ Dinner)
- Day 9
Waterford – Cork – Waterville
After breakfast we drive via Cork,
stopping to visit Blarney Castle with a
chance to acquire the 'gift of the
gab'. From here we travel into County
Kerry and down Dingle Bay to
Waterville, where we have started to
enjoy the stunning scenery of the
famous 'Ring of Kerry' drive.

- Day 10
Waterville – Ennis
A succession of mountains, bays and
pretty towns brings us to the lakes of
Killarney, before stopping in Killarney
itself. On to Limerick, where
orientation shows us St. Mary's
Cathedral and King John's Castle before
reaching the town Ennis for the night.

- Day 11
Ennis – Dublin (2nights)
today we make our way to Nenagh
in County Tipperary, with its ruined
castle and former home of the Butler
family. From here we travel via the
horse–breeding area of Kildare to
Dublin, Ireland's capital, for two
nights. (Breakfast)
- Day 12
Dublin sightseeing & at leisure
Our morning sightseeing tour features
views Trinity College, St. Patrick's
Cathedral, Phoenix Park and the
impressive Four Courts. The rest of
your day is at leisure. You may wish to
do some shopping for Irish tweeds
and linen or visit a Stately Home.

- Day 13
Dublin – Lymm We head off
this morning to Dublin Bay, where we
board our ferry and cruise to Holyhead
on the Isle of Anglesey. Here we join
our coach and enjoy the scenery of the
North Wales coastline as we skirt
Snowdonia National Park. We stop to
visit Chester and admire its famous
galleried 'Rows' and medieval before we
continue to our hotel at Lymm for
dinner and overnight stay. (Breakfast/
Dinner)
- Day 14
Lymm – Edinburgh (Queensferry)
(2nights)
Enjoy today's scenic drive through the
beautiful Lake District, reminiscent of
scenery which inspired William
Wordsworth's famous poem, 'Daffodils'.
Then we cross the Scottish border and
continue across the Southern Uplands to
Edinburgh, Scotland's elegant capital,
for two nights. (Breakfast)
- Day 15
Edinburgh sightseeing & at
leisure
Our morning sightseeing tour shows us
Princes Street, the Royal Mileand views
of the castle. Later time is your own
perhaps to visit Holyrood House or
potter around Grass Market. This
evening, you have the option of a night
out with Highland dancing, bagpipes and
regional specialities such as haggis.

- Day 16
Edinburgh
(Queensferry) – Aviemore Today's
journey takes us towards the Fife Coast
to see St. Andrews, home of the famous
Golf Course. From here we drive via
Pitlochry with views of Blair Atholl as
we head into the Highlands to the ski
resort of Aviemore for the night.

- Day 17
Aviemore – Glasgow After
breakfast this morning we drive via
Inverness and along the shores of Loch
Ness passing Ben Nevis – Britain's
highest mountain. Then on to notorious
Glencoe, where the Macdonalds met their
doom at the hands of the Campbells.
Finally, we continue to Loch Lomond's
bonnie banks before reaching our
hotel in Glasgow. (Breakfast/ Dinner)
- Day 18
Glasgow – York– Leeds
An orientation drive in Glasgow shows
us the Cathedral and George Square.
Then we enjoy a scenic drive to Moffat
Woollens with time to purchase tweeds
and tartans. Next, we make a picture
stop at Hadrian's Wall, before
our arrival in Viking York. Here we
admire the Minster and stroll along the
medieval 'Shambles'. Later, we continue
our journey to nearby Leeds for the
night. (Breakfast/ Dinner)
- Day 19
Leeds – Coventry – Stratford –
London This morning we drive
through the Midlands to Coventry to
view the old and new Cathedrals
standing side by side. Then on to
Shakespeare's birthplace, Stratford–
upon–Avon. There's time to explore this
historic town before we head off
through the scenic Cotswolds back to
London. (Breakfast)
- Day 20
London – USA Bid
farewell on your return flight to the
USA. (Continental breakfast)
