Airport Transfer
Trafalgar has
included a free transfer to and from
your London airport and Central London.
Your transfer will be via an express
train link from London Heathrow Airport
to Paddington Station on the Heathrow
Rail Express, and from London Gatwick
Airport to Victoria Station on the
Gatwick Rail Express. Gatwick Express
takes 30 minutes and Heathrow Express
takes only 15 minutes compared to the
one hour plus journey by coach! From
Paddington or Victoria it's a short and
inexpensive journey by taxi to your
London hotel.
Airport/Central London Railway
Station/Airport: Only one included
transfer both inbound and outbound per
tour is included by Trafalgar.
Transfers are by express train to a
Central London Rail Station. From
Central London it's a short and
inexpensive journey by taxi to your
hotel. Heathrow Express operates
between 05:10 – 23:30. Gatwick Express
operates inbound services between
05:20 – 23:45 and outbound services
from 04:30 – 23:45. Transfers out
these
times are at passengers own expense.
For passengers who choose to make
their
own flight arrangements, a transfer
will
be provided at a charge of $25 per
person round trip. Your Travel Agent
must provide Trafalgar accurate flight
details no less that 21 days prior to
tour departure and must arrange your
flight to coincide with our specific
arrival and departure transfer times.
If however, you arrive outside the
scheduled transfer times, then you
must
make your own alternative transfer
arrangements at your own expense.

(Continental breakfast) | | Day 4 | Plymouth | Today we travel via mysterious Stonehenge to Salisbury, to view its inspiring Cathedral. Then we continue to the port of Plymouth where we see the area known as the Hoe, where Sir Francis Drake played bowls before going on to defeat the Spanish Armada. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 5 | Cornwall | First we into Cornwall and to Mounts Bay where we see St.Michael's Mount. On through Penzance to the quaint village of St.Ives. Finally we return to Plymouth. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 6 | Coventry | Today we drive to Bath to admire its renowned Georgian buildings. Then on across the Cotswolds to Stratford–upon–Avon which is Shakespeare's birthplace. Next on to Coventry, to view its two Cathedrals, before arriving at our hotel. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 7 | Runcorn | This morning we travel to the 'Potteries' and nearby Stoke–on–Trent to visit the world famous Wedgwood Pottery Centre. On to Chester with time to stroll the arcaded streets known as the 'Rows' before reaching our hotel in Runcorn. (Breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 8 | Airth Castle | Today, we enjoy a scenic drive through the Lake District to visit Grasmere, home of the great poet Wordsworth. Then we stop at Hadrian's Wall and cross the Scottish border to drive to Airth Castle, close to Scotland's elegant capital – Edinburgh. (Breakfast) | | Day 9 | Edinburgh | We drive to nearby Edinburgh where morning sightseeing shows us the Royal Mile, Princes Street and views the famous Castle. Later, free time perhaps to shop for tartans and famous Scotch whisky. Or maybe visit Holyrood House, home of Mary Queen of Scots. Tonight, why not enjoy a lively Scottish banquet with haggis and bagpipe music? ( Breakfast) | | Day 10 | Aviemore | Across the mighty Forth Bridge to picturesque St. Andrews, with its world famous Golf Course. Then onwards via Dundee, Perth, Pitlochry and Blair Atholl, before our arrival in Aviemore for our two night. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 11 | Isle of Skye | Today's excursion takes us first to Culloden, where we visit the battlefield. Then we continue past Inverness and along the shores of Loch Ness to Invermorriston and Fort Augustus. Next over the Kyle of Lochalsh to the Isle of Skye where we spend a short time before returning to Aviemore. (Breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 12 | Glasgow | First we cross Scotland to the shores of Loch Linnhe and Fort William, in the shadow of Ben Nevis Britain's highest mountain. Then on to Glencoe and along the 'bonnie banks' of Loch Lomond to Glasgow. Enjoy a short orientation tour before arriving at our hotel. (Breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 13 | Leeds | We cross the border into England at Gretna Green, wedding venue for runaway lovers. Next we continue Durham. Here time to explore the cobbled streets and wonder at the Norman Cathedral and Castle. Then we drive to Viking York where orientation includes the famous Minster and picturesque 'Shambles'. Next to nearby Selby for the stay. (Breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 14 | London | Today we drive through rolling countrysides to the University city of Cambridge with its many colleges set along the banks of the River Cam. Maybe take a trip on a 'punt' before returning to London. (Breakfast) | | Day 15 | Return USA | Bid farewell on your return flight to the USA. (Continental breakfast) |
