Airport Transfers
To qualify for your FREE Airport Transfer just book your round trip flights on one of Trafalgar's recommended airlines, stay in one of Trafalgar's London Hotel (booked through Trafalgar) on the day of arrival and the night prior to departure, and you will be met either at London's Heathrow or Gatwick Airport and transferred to your hotel. On departing London, you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to the airport for your return flight home.

Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports provided the following conditions have been met:
1. You are staying at a London hotel, booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night prior to the date of your departure.
2. Flights are either booked directly by Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided to Trafalgar from your Travel Agent not less then 21 day prior to departure. Once transfers are booked they may not be changed.
3. Only one included transfer both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar. Passengers utilizing stopover tickets en route to a European gateway will only be provided with transfers to and from your inter–continental flight.
4. In the event of flight delays outside of Trafalgar's control, the transfers will be deemed to be cancelled. No refund will be provided for missed transfers.
5. All transfers are based on group transfers; therefore no refund is available for passengers not utilizing the service.
6. In the event of unforessen events (road or rail works, demonstrations) Trafalgar will not be held responsible for delayed transfers.
Heathrow Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 6:00–21:30. Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 8:00–23:00. Transfers outside these times will be at the passengers own expense. Transfers will be by coach.
Gatwick Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 6:00–12:30. Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 8:00–23:00. Transfers outside these times will be at the passengers own expense. Transfers will be by express train and coach.

• Day 2
  Arrive London (2nights) After checking into your Trafalgar hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure.



• Day 3
  London sightseeing & at leisure There are many major sights included on today's morning sightseeing tour. (Continental breakfast)



• Day 4
  London – Stratford – Coventry – Darlington Greetings from our Tour Director as we make our way through the Chiltern Hills to Stratford–upon–Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. From here we continue to Coventry, to see both the old and new Cathedrals. Later an afternoon arrival in Viking York takes us on a walking tour to view the imposing Minster and stroll along the 'Shambles'. Next on to Darlington where we meet for a welcome drink with our Tour Director and fellow travelling companions before dinner at our hotel. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner)



• Day 5
  Darlington – Jedburgh – Edinburgh After breakfast this morning we head further north where we stop for photos at Hadrian's Roman Wall on our drive through Northumberland National Park to the Scottish border at Carter Bar. Here we admire breathtaking views before crossing the Borderlands and seeing the ruins of Jedburgh Abbey. Then we continue on to Edinburgh where we have some free time before a sightseeing tour which includes a visit to Edinburgh castle and views of Holyrood House. Why not try some traditional Scottish cuisine tonight? (Full English breakfast)



• Day 6
  Edinburgh – Lake District – Liverpool – Chester Area Today we drive through the Southern Uplands to the area known as the 'Devils Beef Tub' past Moffat to Gretna Green, where traditionally eloping couples married against their parents wishes. We cross the border into England and drive along the lakes and valleys of the English Lake District to Grasmere. Then along the shores of Windermere, through pastures reminiscent of Wordsworth's poetry, we reach Liverpool, where orientation shows us the City Hall, the modern Cathedral and Albert Dock. From here we make our way to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay. (Full English breakfast/ Dinner)



• Day 7
  Chester Area – Wedgwood – London After breakfast, our day starts with an orientation tour of Chester which highlights the Cathedral, Tudor buildings and the arcaded 'Rows'. Next our journey takes us on to the Wedgwood Pottery Centre where we'll see the art of porcelain manufacture. There's time here to pick up some bargains in fine china, before we make our way back to London! (Full English breakfast)



• Day 8
  London – USA After breakfast, time to bid farewell to new–found friends and Britain on your return flight to America. (Continental breakfast)
