Gateway: Trafalgar passengers
purchasing either “Land Only” or “Land
and Air” will receive Hotelink
transfers during published hours of
operation. This is providing that:
- Passengers are staying at a London
hotel, booked by Trafalgar on the
night of their arrival and the night
before their departure.
- Passengers or their Travel Agents
supply Trafalgar with accurate flight
information not less than 14 days
prior to departure.
- European Gateways:
Trafalgar passengers purchasing “Land
Only” will receive coach transfers at
the times published in the brochure at
NO extra charge. However, if
these “Land Only” passengers arrive
outside the brochure advertised coach
transfer times they must make their
own arrangements at their own
expense.
- Passengers purchasing “Land and
Air” from Trafalgar will receive coach
transfers at times published in the
brochure or, if they arrive outside of
these set times, then a separate
transfer will be booked for them.
These transfers will be available only
on the days of arrival and departure
of the tour.
- Passengers purchasing pre and post
tour accommodation must arrange their
own transfers regardless of whether or
not they have bought “Air” from
Trafalgar.

Tour Duration: 10 days
- Day 1 – Depart USA Overnight flight to Paris.
- Day 2 – Arrive Paris (2 nights) You are met at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and transferred to your hotel. Later this afternoon, there's time to relax before joining your Tour Director and fellow travelling companions for a welcome dinner. Tonight, maybe take an excursion to see this wondrous city illuminated. (Dinner)
Hotel: Evergreen Laurel (2 nights)
- Day 3 – Paris sightseeing & at leisure We enjoy a morning sightseeing tour featuring views of the Louvre, Champs Elysees, Opera House, Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral. Then you are free to explore the city further – perhaps visit Montmartre and take a cruise on the River Seine. This evening, why not enjoy dinner in a cosy left bank bistro?

- Day 4 – Paris – TGV Train – Lyon – Aix–en–Provence (4 nights) This morning we board our comfortable, high speed TGV train to Lyon. From here we continue through the stunning French countryside en route to Aix–en–Provence, where we spend the next four nights.

- Day 5 – Aix–en–Provence orientation & at leisure Our morning orientation shows us the Cours Mirabeau with its many cafes and 19th century architecture. Then time at leisure. Aix was the home of Paul Cezanne – why not visit the museum dedicated to him or take an excursion to Marseilles and 'Les Calanques'? Tonight, perhaps dine on Provencal specialties in a restaurant. (Buffet Breakfast)
- Day 6 – French Riviera Excursion An early start this morning as we pass the Abbey of St. Maximin to Ste. Maxime. From here we cruise across the Mediterranean to St. Tropez. There's time to watch out for the rich and famous from one of the cafes before we head back to Aix–en–Provence for the night. (Buffet Breakfast)
- Day 7 – Van Gogh's Arles and 'Les Alpilles' Today we drive into the heart of the Camargue to Arles. Here we see the Roman Arena and the Cathedral of St. Trophime before driving to Les Baux – the most mysterious, hilltop ghost town in all of France! Then down to St. Remy de Provence, birthplace of Nostradamus and home to Van Gogh in some of his last years. Free time here before returning to Aix. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
- Day 8 – Aix–en–Provence – Avignon – Beaune This morning a short drive brings us to Avignon where an orientation tour shows us the famous broken bridge and the Palace of the Popes. Then on to one of the most amazing sights in France, the 'Pont du Gard'. We continue into the vineyards of Burgundy to the pretty medieval wine town Beaune. On our arrival an orientation tour shows us the market square and Hotel Dieu where the famous wine auctions take place. (Buffet Breakfast/Dinner)
Hotel: Mercure Beaune Centre
- Day 9 – Beaune – Paris Today we reach Paris in time for lunch. At leisure maybe visit the Louvre and the Musee d'Orsay or take a trip to the nearby ornate Palace of Versailles. Shopping in Paris is always fun! Try out the boutiques near St. Sulpice, featured at the heart of the novel 'The Da Vinci Code'. On your final evening why not enjoy a night at one of the city's famous cabaret–shows?

- Day 10 – Paris – USA Time to bid farewell to new–found friends as we transfer to the airport for your return flight to the USA.
