    Airport Transfers
    Transfers will be provided only for passengers who have booked our Land + Air package. Group transfers on arrival at Rome Airport will operate at 09:30, 12:30 and 15:30. Return transfers from the last hotel will arrive at Rome Airport at 07:00 and 09:30.

    For passengers who choose to make their own flight arrangements, a transfer will be provided at a charge of $25 per person round trip. Your Travel Agent must provide Trafalgar accurate flight details no less that 21 days prior to tour departure and must arrange your flight to coincide with our specific arrival and departure transfer times. If however, you arrive outside the scheduled transfer times, then you must make your own alternative transfer arrangements at your own expense.

    Day 1Depart USAOvernight transatlantic flight to Rome.
    Day 2 RomeOn arrival in Rome you are transferred to your hotel, with the rest of your day at leisure.
    Day 3 RomeToday enjoy a guided visit of St. Peter's Basilica. Then we stop at the Forum to wonder at the mighty Colosseum before time at leisure. (Continental breakfast)
    Day 4 FlorenceThis morning we drive to Pisa to view the Leaning Tower. From here we continue on to Renaissance Florence. The rest of the day is free. (Continental breakfast)
    Day 5 VeniceOur sightseeing tour on foot features Santa Croce Basilica, Signoria Square, the Cathedral and Baptistry. We also admire the panoramic view from Piazzale Michelangelo. Then, on to magical Venice. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner)
    Day 6 VeniceToday starts with an included canal cruise by vaporetto to St. Mark's Square. We view the Bridge of Sighs and Doges' Palace before a visit to a glass–blowing factory. (Continental breakfast)
    Day 7 VeniceToday's drive takes us across the Apennine Mountains to San Marino. Next on to the city of Assisi, where an orientation tour highlights St. Francis' Basilica. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner)
    Day 8At SeaWe travel south this morning through Umbria. Here you may wish to take an excursion to visit Pompeii. We continue to nearby Naples, where we board our steamer for the overnight crossing to Palermo, Sicily's capital. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner)
    Day 9 PalermoAfter our morning arrival a sightseeing tour with a local guide includes the Piazza Bellini. Then we stop to view of the Conca d'Oro from Monreale, and visit the 12th century Norman Cathedral. Finally, we visit the fishing village of Mondello before returning to Palermo. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner)
    Day 10 AgrigentoOur first stop is at Selinunte, where we visit the Dorian Temples and the Acropolis. Then accompanied by a local guide, we make our way to Agrigento, where we visit the nearby Valley of Temples. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner)
    Day 11 TaorminaWe travel through the vineyards of the Southern Hills to visit the Villa of Casale. Then we are off to Piazza Armerina before stopping to view the fortress town of Enna. Soon we arrive in Taormina. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner)
    Day 12 TaorminaToday, relax in this fun–loving Sicilian resort. There's also a chance to visit the Castle of San Pancrazio or take an excursion to the crater of Sicily's active volcano, Mount Etna. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner)
    Day 13Bay of NaplesToday we drive along the coast where we board our ferry across the Straits of Messina to mainland Italy. From here we continue through Calabria driving via Salerno to our hotel in the Bay of Naples. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner)
    Day 14 SorrentoWe drive to nearby Sorrento where we witness the art of inlaid wood–working. Then orientation shows us the Piazza Tasso and the Corso Italia with its many boutiques. You may wish to take an excursion to the nearby Isle of Capri.

    Day 15 RomeToday we drive north to view the Abbey of Monte Cassino. Later, we return to Rome. (Continental breakfast)
