- In Germanic cities, towns and
villages you will find all kinds of
Christmas
merchandise and gifts, especially
traditional crib figurines, toys, wood
carvings,
marionettes, candles and lambskin
shoes. The ambience is further enhanced
by
the aromas of Lebkuchen
(gingerbread), hot chestnuts, grilled
sausages and
Glühwein (a spiced mulled wine).
- In France's Alsace region you will
be enchanted by villages, glittering
with Christmas lights, and timbered
fairy–tale buildings decked for the
season. Here you will find markets
selling hand–crafted ornaments and
sumptuous cookies.

1 – DEPART USA
Overnight flight to
Frankfurt. DAY 2 –
ARRIVE FRANKFURT
Transfers from Frankfurt Airport to
the tour hotel depart at 09:30
& 12:00. Later, we enjoy an
orientation
tour and Welcome Drink.

DAY 3 – FRANKFURT
– STRASBOURG
We drive along the Rhine and Moselle
Valleys before
visiting the Christmas Market at Trier.
Later, we continue to Strasbourg in France
for our Highlight Dinner.

4 – STRASBOURG A
day to visit the festive shops and
gingerbread bakery in La Petite France
and enjoy the Christmas market. (BB)
DAY 5 – STRASBOURG
– COLMAR We follow
the Alsace wine road and
stop in the delightful towns of
Riquewihr and Kayersburg to explore the
Christmas
markets. Now on to medieval Colmar.

DAY 6 – COLMAR
We have the whole day to
explore Colmar’s
illuminated Christmas market in the old
town. (BB) DAY 7
– COLMAR – HEIDELBERG
We travel through the Black Forest on
our way to Heidelberg. We look out over
the River Neckar from
the Castle heights before exploring the
Xmas Markets in the town centre.

DAY 8 – HEIDELBERG
– FRANKFURT
We visit the Christmas Shop and
market in the
medieval walled city of Rothenburg. Late
afternoon we return to Frankfurt.

our transfer to Frankfurt
