Airport Transfers
Free Transfers at European Airports: If you join your Trafalgar tour at a European city and have booked Trafalgar's Land & Air package, a free transfer will be provided to and from the airport to the tour hotel on the day the tour arrives and the day it departs at scheduled times. In the unlikely event that passengers who have booked their Land & Air with Trafalgar can only be booked on flights arriving outside of the scheduled times, transfer will still be provided. Airport/Central London Railway Station/Airport: Only one included transfer both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar. Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station. From Central London it's a short and inexpensive journey by taxi to your hotel. Heathrow Express operates between 05:10 – 23:30. Gatwick Express operates inbound services between 05:20 – 23:45 and outbound services from 04:30 – 23:45. Transfers out these times are at passengers own expense. For passengers who choose to make their own flight arrangements, a transfer will be provided at a charge of $25 per person round trip. Your Travel Agent must provide Trafalgar accurate flight details no less that 21 days prior to tour departure and must arrange your flight to coincide with our specific arrival and departure transfer times. If however, you arrive outside the scheduled transfer times, then you must make your own alternative transfer arrangements at your own expense. Rome Airport transfers arrive at the Airport at 07:00 and 09:30 on Day 15

Tonight, why not enjoy dinner in a cosy Left Bank bistro. (Continental breakfast) | | Day 6 | Geneva | Through the wine–producing region of Burgundy. We stop in the medieval town of Beaune before entering Switzerland and Geneva for two nights. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 7 | Geneva | Morning orientation includes the Reformation Monument and United Nations' building. Then, free time to shop or perhaps take a trip to charming lakeside Yvoire. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 8 | Nice | We head back into France past the Winter Olympic resort of Grenoble. Then a scenic drive follows the Route Napoleon south. We'll stop at Sisteron before arriving in Nice. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 9 | Nice | First we visit the medieval town of St. Paul de Vence. Then we visit the Fragonard perfumery before returning to Nice where time is at leisure. (Continental breakfast) | | Day 10 | Montecatini | We drive to the Principality of Monaco where we visit the old town and its Cathedral, seeing Princess Grace's tomb as well as the Grimaldi Palace. Into nearby Italy and to Pisa to see the Leaning Tower before reaching Montecatini. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 11 | Venice | Today, we head to Florence, where we will gain a scenic view over the city from Piazzale Michelangelo. There's free time to explore further or shop for leather and gold before driving to Venice and our hotel in Mestre. Tonight after dinner, a gondola serenade would be hard to resist. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 12 | Venice | Savour the atmosphere on a canal cruise by vaporetto to St. Mark's Square viewing the Bridge of Sighs. Next watch craftsmen at work on a visit to a glass–blowing factory, before time at leisure. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 13 | Venice | Via Bologna, then over the Apennine Mountains and through Umbrian scenery, we pass Orvieto en route to Rome. Tonight, why not dine out in a local trattoria? (Continental breakfast) | | Day 14 | Rome | Morning sightseeing shows us the Forum, Colosseum and St. Peter's Basilica. Afterwards, there's time at leisure to sightsee further, window–shop along the or just relax in a café.
