Airport Transfers Hotelink transfers between Heathrow and Gatwick Airports and Central London are available for all passengers, providing you stay in a Trafalgar London hotel (booked by Trafalgar Tours). Note: Passengers should arrive at Gatwick Airport between 06:00 – 12:30 or Heathrow between 06:00 – 21:30. For passengers who book Trafalgar's Land only package and who choose to make their own flight arrangements, a transfer will be provided at a charge of $25 per person round trip. Your Travel Agent must provide Trafalgar accurate flight details no less than 21 days prior to tour departure and must arrange your flights to coincide with our specific arrival and departure transfer times. If however, you arrive outside the scheduled transfer times, then you must make your own alternative transfer arrangements at your own expense. However, if arriving after these times and Trafalgar Tours has booked your air reservation, then you will receive Britrail Tickets. Transfers via train link from London Heathrow Airport to Paddington Station on the Heathrow Rail Express, and from London Gatwick Airport to Victoria Station on the Gatwick Rail Express. From Paddington or Victoria it's a short and inexpensive journey by taxi to your London Hotel. Note: Heathrow Express operates between 05:10 – 23:30. Gatwick Express ope rates inbound services between 06:50 – 20:50. Transfers outside of these times are at the passengers own expense. Rome Airport Transfer will arrive at the airport at 07:00 and 09:30 on Day 17.

Tonight maybe enjoy dinner at a typical pub. | | Day 3 | London | We enjoy a half day sightseeing tour featuring the infamous Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. The rest of your day is free. Perhaps visit Camden Lock market, walk through Kensington gardens, visit a museum or take a Thames cruise to the Tower of London. (Continental breakfast) | | Day 4 | London | Have you been shopping in Knightsbridge and Oxford Street yet! The possibilties are endless...and don't forget to take in some London theatre before we leave this fashionable city! (Continental breakfast) | | Day 5 | Paris | Greetings from our Tour Director en route to Waterloo Station. Here we board the ultra–modern, high–speed Eurostar train to Paris. Delight in the scenery through Kent and Northern Freance to glamorous Paris. On arrival we join our coach and transfer to our hotel. Tonight we enjoy a welcome drink with our Tour Director.(Continental breakfast) | | Day 6 | Paris | Today's guided sightseeing tour takes us from the Place de la Concorde along the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe. Next we ascend to the second level of the Eiffel Tower, for spectacular views over the city. Then we enjoy a scenic Seine cruise, which highlights Notre Dame Cathedral and the pont Alexandre III. The rest of your day is at leisure to wander the streets of the Latin Quarter or relax in a sidewalk. (Buffet breakfast) | | Day 7 | Paris | A full day at leisure. Perhaps visit the Louvre, Vesailles and Montmartre. Or why not enjoy one of the great cabaret shows and try some onion soup in one of Paris' Brasseries? However you wish to spend your time your Tour Director will be happy to assist you. (Buffet breakfast) | | Day 8 | Nice | We transfer to Paris' Gare de Lyon where we board the TGV Mediterrancee, the French fleet's most recent train. Our journey takes us through the rolling hills of Burgundy, along the Rhone Valley, past hilltop villages of Provence and the Luberon, and finally to the French Riviera where we admire stunning coastal scenery to elegant Nice. On our arrival an orientation shows us the Promenade des Anglais, the Place Massena and 'le vieux Nice'. Tonight, experience the nightlife in Monte Carlo and try your hand at 'breaking the bank' at the famous Casinos following by a dinner of Nicois specialities in a downtown restaurant. (Buffet breakfast/ Dinner on the French Riviera) | | Day 9 | Nice | There's plenty of time to enjoy this popular French resort. Maybe lie on the beach, swim in the Mediterranean or shop in the boutiques. Or why not take excursions to Cannes, Eze or St.Paul de Vence? Your Tour Director is on hand to advise you. (Buffet breakfast) | | Day 10 | Venice | We are transferred to the railway station for our train to Italy. Traveling via Milan our train takes us from France into Italy and the Lombardy Hills to the Veneto plains, where we will disembark in Venice. Tonight, we check into our hotel for a relaxing three–nights. Later, a gondola serenade would be hard to resist! (Buffet breakfast) | | Day 11 | Venice | This morning we board our private launch taking us past Palladian Pallazos to St.Mark's Square where we see the Bridge of Sighs, Doges' Palace and St.Mark's Basilica. Next enjoy a demonstration of Murano glass–blowing in Venices' oldest workshops. Then time to enjoy the delights of this romantic city. (Buffet breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 12 | Venice | A full day free in this unique city. For those who wish there's a transfer from the hotel to St. Mark's Square and back. Why not join an excursion to see some of the islands in the Lagoon and enjoy a seafood lunch? Or explore the narrow 'Calle' and shop on the Rialto Bridge. Tonight after dinner, maybe relax over cocktails in the hotel bar. (Buffet breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 13 | Venice | A morning transfer to the train for Florence. Our train travels through the Apennine Mountains and into Tuscany, brimming with vineyards, sunflowers and olive groves. We arrive in Florence where we are transferred to our hotel. This afternoon our local guide takes us on a walking tour of this Renaissance jewel. We visit the Basilica of Santa Croce where we see the tombs of Galileo, Macchiavelli, Dante and Michelangelo. We also see the Piazza Signoria, the multi–coloured marble Duomo and a superb view over the city from Piazzale Michelangelo. Tonight, why not enjoy som edelicious Tuscan cuisine with wine in the Chianti hills? (Buffet breakfast) | | Day 14 | Florence | Enjoy a full day at leisure to visit the museums and Art Galleries. This evening, we'll enjoy a dinner of local specialities in a traditional trattoria. (Buffet breakfast/ Dinner in Florence) | | Day 15 | Rome | This morning we embark on our high–speed train, which takes us past the peaceful scenery of the Umbria with its hilltop towns to the Latium, the Cradle of the Roman Civilisation, and the 'Eternal City'. On arrival at Rome's 'Termini' Station our local guide meets us and takes us on an in–depth sightseeing tour by coach. Highlights inculde a visit to St.Peter's Basilica where we see Michelangelo's Pieta, views of the Forum, Colosseum, Tomb of the unknown soldier and Circurs Maximus where chariot races as in the film Ben Hur took place. (Buffet breakfast) | | Day 16 | Rome | Today is at leisure. A full day free to enjoy. Why not take an excurtion to the Sistine Chaple or visit the Catacombs? Then maybe window–shop along the Via Condotti, or explore the streets of Trastevere. Tonight, perhaps indulge in Roman cuisine and refreshing wines from the Castelli Romani and maybe throw a coin in the Trevi Fountail to ensure a safe return one day! (Buffet breakfast) | | Day 17 | Return USA | It's 'arrivederci' to our Tour Director as we transfer you to the airport for our return flight to America. (Buffet breakfast). |
