  USA –Berlin Board your trans–Atlantic flight to Berlin.



• Day 2
  Berlin Arrive in Germany's capital and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.



• Day 3
  Berlin After breakfast in your hotel, depart for a tour of this formerly divided city. See the Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charle and the chic Kurfursten damm. The afternoon is free to shop or explore on your own. This evening enjoy dinner in a local restaurant. (Breakfast/ Dinner)



• Day 4
  Berling – Potsdam Tour one of the beautiful palaces built by Frederick the Great in the Park of Sans Souci. You will also see the Cecilienhof, the site of the historic post WWII conference attended by Churchill, Truman and Stalin. (Breakfast)



• Day 5
  Berlin – Meissen – Dresden Travel south through picturesque countryside to Meissen. Tour the city before continuing on to Dresden, capital of Saxony. Tonight, enjoy a special Saxonian dinner in a local restaurant. (Breakfast/ Dinner)



• Day 6
  Dresden – Prague This morning you will tour this Baroque gem, set on the banks of the Elbe River. See the Semper Opera house and the spectacular Zwinger Palace. Visit the Green Vault. Local guides will then lead you through the historic heart of the city. Continue your journey across the Czech border to Prague, the "Golden City", arriving in time for dinner. (Breakfast/ Dinner)

  Prague This morning's city tour shows you all the highlights, including a visit to the Cstle District and St. Vitus' Cathedral as well as Wenceslas Square and the Old Town. This afternoon, you are free to explore or shop for famous Czech crystal.



• Day 8
  Prague Enjoy a day at leisure in the Czech capital. Your Trafalgar Tour Manager is on hand with suggestions for exploring the city. (Breakfast)



• Day 9
  Prague – Nuremberg Journey across the scenic rolling hills of Lower Bohemia to Nuremberg, capital of Germany's Fanconia. Board you luxurious ship in time for your welcome–aboard dinner. (Breakfast/ Dinner)



• Day 10
  Nuremberg – Riedenburg This morning's tour includes a guided walk through the charming walled city. In the afternoon, depart and cruise through the highest waterway in Europe, the Main–Danube Canal. Via stair–step locks, cruise past charming villages and the scenic Altmuhl Valley to Riedenburg for an overnight stop. (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)



• Day 11
  Kelheim – Regensburg Depart early from Riedenburg. At Kelheim, the canal enters the Danube. After lunch onboard, enjoy a walking tour of Regensburg, a perfectly preserved medieval city. Stop for beer and sausage at the "Wurstkuche". It has been serving sausages and beer for over 800 years! Your ship departs for Passau in the eveing. (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)



• Day 12
  Passau Arrive in Passau at the confluence of the Inn, llz and Danube rivers. During your walking tour, visit the Old Town and the beautiful Baroque Cathedral of St. Stephan. Continue overnight to Austria. (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)



• Day 13
  Melk – Vienna This morning in Melk tour the spectacular Benedictine Abbey, the largest and most beautiful in Austria. Your journey continues with a daytime cruise through the Wachau Valley, revealing some of the most stunning scenery in Europe. After dinner, arrive in Vienna, the elegant "City of Music", where you may take an optional excursion to a Viennese concert of Mozart and Strauss. (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)



• Day 14
  Vienna The morning begins with a coach tour around the streets of Ringstrasse. You will pass the imperial buidlings of the Habsburg Empire followed by a walk to St. Stephan's Cathedral. This afternoon, you are free to explore the chic Karntnerstrasse or enjoy a coffee in one fot the city's many cafes. This evening, your ship continues downstream to Hungary. • Day 15
  Budapest Be on deck this morning as you cruise through the heart of the city. Today's tour takes you to the many highlights of the twin cities of Buda and Pest, straddling the Danube. See the Parliament, Heroes' Square, and the Castle District, including St. Matthias Church. Where you will admire picture–postcard views of the city and the Danube from the Fisherman's Bastion.
