Airport Transfers
Transfers will be provided for
passengers who have booked our Land +
Air package. Group transfers on
arrival at Amsterdam Airport will
operate at 09:00 and 13:00.
Return transfers from the last hotel
will arrive at Oslo Airport at 06:00
and 10:00.
For passengers who book Trafalgar's
Land only package and who choose to
make their own flight arrangements, a
transfer will be provided at a charge
of $25 per person round trip. Your
Travel Agent must provide Trafalgar
accurate flight details no less than
21 days prior to tour departure and
must arrange your flights to coincide
with our specific arrival and
departure transfer times. If however,
you arrive outside the scheduled
transfer times, then you must make
your own alternative transfer
arrangements at your own expense.

| | | Day | Destination | Description | | Day 1 | Depart USA | Overnight flight to Amsterdam. | | Day 2 |  Amsterdam | You are met at Amsterdam Airport and transferred to your hotel. After check–in, time to relax or perhaps explore this friendly city. This evening, we enjoy a welcome drink with our Tour Director. | | Day 3 | Hamburg | After breakfast our drive brings us to Groningen en route to the German border.From here we will continue to Hamburg where on our arrival and orientation tour in this Hanseatic port shows us the major points of interest. We dine at our hotel this evening.(Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 4 | Copenhagen | We island–hop as we travel via Lübeck en route to Puttgarden for the cruise across the Baelt to Rødbyhavn in southernmost Denmark. Then a scenic drive brings us to Denmark's capital, Copenhagen. (Buffet Breakfast) | | Day 5 | Copenhagen | Today's morning sightseeing includes impressive highlights such as the Amalienborg and Christiansborg Palaces and the Stock Exchange. Guarding the harbour we see the Little Mermaid – the statue inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's sad fairytale. Then free time to do as you please, perhaps visit the famous Tivoli Gardens amusement park.(Full Scandinavian Breakfast) | | Day 6 | Stockholm | Today we cross the Oresund to Sweden. Then through meadows and forests to Gränna, at the head of Lake Vättern, and on to island–ringed Stockholm. Here the cobbled streets and medieval buildings of the Old Town contrast with today's ultra–modern city centre. Your evening is at leisure. (Full Scandinavian Breakfast) | | Day 7 | Stockholm | The charms of this proud city are revealed on our morning sightseeing tour, highlighting the Royal Palace and City Hall in its beautiful waterside location. Later at leisure, wander the narrow back streets of the Old Town and maybe visit the Cathedral. (Full Scandinavian Breakfast) | | Day 8 | Hamar | Our first stop is at the medieval city of Orebro and then along the shores of Lake Vänern. We continue through unspoiled Varmland and alongside the Glomma River, before a late afternoon arrival at our hotel in the pleasant surroundings of lakeside Hamar. (Full Scandinavian Breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 9 | Geiranger | Today we travel along the shores of Lake Mjøsa to the Olympic town of Lillehammer and through the Gudbrandsdal Valley, before stopping to visit a traditional Stave Church at Lom. Then into the snow–clad mountains and breathtaking fjord scenery to Geiranger and our fjord–side hotel for the next two nights.
(Full Scandinavian Breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 10 | Geiranger | You have a full day to enjoy and relax in this fjord gem, renowned for its beauty and unforgettable views. Later, perhaps consider an excursion to Trollstigen, ladder of the Trolls, or walk along marked trails through an incomparable landscape.
(Full Scandinavian Breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 11 | Sognefjord | This morning we see the Storfoss Falls, then have your cameras ready on our cruise along Geirangerfjord to Hellesylt, with views of the Seven Sisters Waterfalls. Next, we will travel past the resorts of Loen and Olden, viewing the imposing Bøya glacier, before reaching the 130–mile long Sognefjord. Tonight, we dine at our hotel in this scenic location. (Full Scandinavian Breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 12 | Sognefjord | Sognefjord is left behind on the ascent of Vikafjell to the village of Voss. From here we descend to Bergen, Norway's most cultural and naturally beautiful city. On our arrival an orientation features its colourful harbourside, before dinner in our hotel.
(Full Scandinavian Breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 13 | Geilo | After breakfast this morning, enjoy some time at leisure. From here our journey will take us east across Eidefjord via the Voringfoss waterfall – Norway's most admired. Then we continue across the bleak Hardangervidda to the resort of Geilo for the night.
(Full Scandinavian Breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 14 | Oslo | Today we travel through the narrow Hallingdal Valley to emerge among the Ringerike. Later, enjoy more beautiful scenery as we travel between the Steinsfjord and Tyrifjord to Oslo, Norway's capital. (Full Scandinavian Breakfast) | | Day 15 | Oslo | Our morning guided sightseeing tour reveals the spacious square containing the Old Cathedral and the Royal Palace, before a visit to the Vigeland Sculpture Park. With time at leisure the Kon–Tiki raft, the Holmenkollen Olympic ski–jump or shopping for sweaters and silverware are some of the other tempting attractions. (Full Scandinavian Breakfast) | | Day 16 | Return USA | Time to bid farewell as we transfer to the airport for our return flight to America.
