    Airport Transfers
    Transfers will be provided for passengers who have booked our Land + Air package. Group transfers on arrival at Helsinki Airport will operate at 10:00, 14:00 and 16:00. Return transfers from the last hotel will arrive at Helsinki Airport at 07:00 and 12:00.

    For passengers who book Trafalgar's Land only package and who choose to make their own flight arrangements, a transfer will be provided at a charge of $25 per person round trip. Your Travel Agent must provide Trafalgar accurate flight details no less than 21 days prior to tour departure and must arrange your flights to coincide with our specific arrival and departure transfer times. If however, you arrive outside the scheduled transfer times, then you must make your own alternative transfer arrangements at your own expense.

    Day 1Depart USAOvernight flight to Helsinki.
    Day 2 HelsinkiYou are met at Helsinki Airport and transferred to your hotel. After check–in time to relax. This afternoon our sightseeing tour reveals Finlandia Hall, the Senate and Market Squares, broad boulevards and domed Russian church. Tonight, we enjoy a welcome drink with our Tour Director.
    Day 3 St. PetersburgThis morning it's an early departure for our journey into Russia, passing the timber centre of Kotka. Then the Forests of Karelia lead to the former city of Tsars – St. Petersburg. (Full Scandinavian Breakfast/ Dinner)
    Day 4 St. PetersburgThe Tsar's Winter Palace, Nevsky Prospekt, Peter and Paul fortress, St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Russian museum and the statue of Peter the Great are all highlighted on our morning sightseeing. During our time in St. Petersburg we will also enjoy an included visit to the Hermitage Museum to visit one of the world's largest and most valuable Art collections.     Day 6 NovgorodToday our drive takes us across the vast Russian plains to ancient Novgorod. Here orientation shows us the 'Kremlin' fort and grounds, Millennium Monument and the St. Sophia Cathedral before dinner at our hotel.(Breakfast/ Dinner)
    Day 7 MoscowA full day's drive through picturesque villages takes us to Tver, where we'll enjoy and included lunch. Then our journey takes us on to Klin, once home of Tchaikovsky, before arriving in Moscow. Tonight maybe enjoy a tour of the Moscow metro. (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
    Day 8 MoscowTodays morning sightseeing tour features such highlights as St. Basil's domed Cathedral, Red Square and a visit to the Kremlin. During your time at leisure in Moscow perhaps take an excursion to visit the Tsar's Treasury Chamber or maybe visit St. Sergius Monastery and handicraft market. On our first evening after dinner, there may be a chance for a thrilling night out at the famous Moscow State Circus! (Breakfast/ Dinner)

    Day 10MinskToday we follow in the steps of Napoleon's retreating army in 1812, passing Borodino and making a stop at Smolensk for an included lunch. From here we head to the border between Russia and the Independent State of Belarus and continue our drive to Minsk where an orientation tour shows us the Old Town and the Hero's Hill Memorial. This evening, we enjoy a dinner of traditional cuisine at our hotel. (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
    Day 11 VilniusToday via Osm'any on our way toward the border with Lithuania, then on to the capital, Vilnius. On arrival a guided sightseeing tour shows us the ruins of the Medieval castle, the centre at Gediminas Square and Tower, the church of St. Peter and Paul, the church of St. Anna and a walk through the old town. After we visit the courtyards of the Jesuit University and see the 'Gates of Dawn', we view the site of the Synagogue destroyed by Hitler in the last war. This evening we have dinner at our hotel. (Breakfast/ Dinner)
    Day 12 RigaAfter breakfast we depart from Vilnius with our first stop being a visit to Siauliai and the 'Hill of Crosses' – symbol of resistance against Soviet occupation. Later, we arrive at the Latvian border and onto ancient Riga, Latvia's Capital – made famous by the stories of Baron von Münchausen. Dinner is at our hotel tonight. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)
    Day 13 RigaWe tour this city in the shadow of the 14th century castle of the Livonian knights, with a local guide. Today we visit St. John's Church and the Dom Cathedral dating back to the 13th century, before we stroll past the Tris Braili to admire the medieval architecture here. Then we see the State Art Museum and Fraternal Cemetery. Later, there's free time for further exploration of the city before dinner at our hotel. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)
    Day 14 TallinnThis morning we drive along the Gulf of Riga and into Estonia. Then we travel via Parnu, a popular vacation resort of sandy beaches, as we make our way to the Estonian capital – Tallinn for the night. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)
    Day 15 HelsinkiAfter breakfast our morning sightseeing tour in this pretty town explores the beautifully preserved streets of the old Hanseatic Quarter with its ancient battlements and the 15th century Luhike Jalq Gate. We also visit the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and the old Town Hall, before we board our ship for the sea–crossing to Helsinki in Finland for the final night of our tour. (Breakfast)
    Day 16Return USAAfter breakfast this morning, bid farewell as we transfer you to the airport for your return flight to America.(Full Scandinavian Breakfast)
