Airport Transfers

to make thier own flight arrangements,
a transfer will be provided at a
charge
of $25 per person roung trip. Your
travel Agent must provide Trafalgar
accurate flight details no less that

days prior to tour departure and must
arrange your flights to coincide with
our specific arrival and departure
transfer times. If however, you arrive
outside Transfers times, then you must
make your own alternative transfer
arrangements at your own expense.

and Trafalgar Tours has booked your

reservation, then you will receive

Here we visit Shakespeare's birthplace and drive past Anne Hathaway's cottage. We continue to Coventry, home of Lady Godiva, to see the two Cathedrals. Next we visit the famous Wedgwood Pottery Centre with time to purchase some fine china. Finally, off to the spa–town of Harrogate where we enjoy a welcome drink with our Tour Director before dinner tonight.(Continental breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 4 | Edinburgh | Our day begins in Viking York where we enjoy a walking tour with our Tour Director through the medieval streets to the 'Shambles' and the gothic Minster. Then, we're off to Durham, which is dominated by its 12th century Norman Cathedral before we continue through the Northumberland National Park, past the ruins of Hadrian's Wall. Later, we cross the Scottish border where we see the famous Jedburgh Abbey en route to Edinburgh, Scotland's elegant capital. (Full English breakfast) | | Day 5 | Edinburgh | We visit Edinburgh Castle and see Holyrood House,once home of Mary Queen of Scots, on morning sightseeing tour. Then free time to perhaps take an optional excursion and shop along Princes Street for tweeds and tartans. During the Festival, we include tickets to the spectacular Edinburgh Tattoo. Tonight why not try some Scottish cuisine and entertainment? (Full English breakfast) | | Day 6 | Aviemore | After breakfast this morning, we drive towards the Fife coast to St. Andrews, home of the famous golf course. We continue over the River Tay, through Dundee and Perth to Pitlochry. From here we cross rugged, heather clad scenery to the Highland town of Aviemore for the night.(Full English breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 7 | Glasgow | This morning we drive via the magnificent but mournful scenery of Culloden before continuing to Loch Ness before continuing to Fort William glimpsing at the imposing peak of Ben Nevis Britain's highest mountain. Then on through Glencoe to the shores of Loch Lomond en route to Glasgow for the night. (Full English breakfast) | | Day 8 | Preston | Today we weill drive through the Southern Uplands past Moffat to Gretna Green, where traditionally eloping couples married against their parents' wishes. From here we drive back into England making a stop in Grasmere, home of the poet William Wordsworth. The breathtaking scenery of rolling hills and lakes continues to enthrall us on our journey to Preston for the night.(Full English breakfast/ Dinner) | | Day 9 | Bristol | Our first stop this morning is in Chester to admire the architecture of the galleried 'Rows'. From here we cross into Wales and the Wye Valley to Tintern Abbey. Finally, we continue to Bristol where this evening we will enjoy dinner in a characteristic restaurant. (Full English breakfast/ Hotel dinner) | | Day 10 | London | We make our way to the beautiful city of Bath this morning. On our arrival we will view its superb Georgian architecture and enjoy a visit to the Roman Baths. From here we continue our journey across Salisbury Plain making a stop to view the ancient monoliths at Stonehenge. Later, we visit Salisbury with time for views of its impressive Cathedral before we carry on through Wiltshire and Hampshire back to London. (Full English breakfast) | | Day 11 | Return USA | After breakfast this morning, time to bid farewell as we transfer to the airport for our return flight to America. (Continental breakfast) |
